Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering and project management support to the plant in the design, submission, installation and commissioning of capital, major maintenance, stop period and revenue projects
- Assist in the introduction of new technological developments and provide training on new equipment.
- Undertake investigation on all delays and production losses identifying and recommending innovative solutions to engineering problems.
- Ensure that the specification and spares holding levels and strategy are correct as a result of review using a recognized technique.
- Underpin the standards of engineering applied in the plant by monitoring the performance of the electrical engineering teams and supervising manpower resources as required.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and plans.
- Direct a team of inspectors, supervisors, craftsmen and contract employees.
- Plant specific aspects include, heavy mechanical & electrical equipment, instruments, chemical plant, materials handling plant and contract services.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Minimum of HND in a related discipline
- 1-3 years experience
- Location: Lagos
