About the Role
Unilever is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Electrical and Automation Manager to join our Supply Chain team. You will be responsible for leading the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical and automation systems.
Your mission is to ensure high equipment availability, prioritize safety, maximize energy efficiency, and drive automation initiatives that boost productivity and product quality across the manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
- System Optimization: Lead the maintenance of HT/LT electrical installations, instrumentation, and automation systems (including PLCs, SCADA, DCS) in line with engineering roadmaps.
- Reliability & Performance: Drive strategies to achieve "zero production stoppages" due to machine breakdowns and enhance overall machine reliability.
- Project Management: Oversee capital expenditure projects—from budgeting to execution—ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Leadership & Development: Guide and mentor technical teams, enhancing the skills of technicians and plant operators.
- Safety Excellence: Lead electrical safety audits, develop and implement corrective action plans, and ensure safe electrical installation practices across all company-owned sites.
- Cost Management: Drive cost-effective programs, including electrical demand reduction and energy efficiency initiatives, to minimize factory conversion costs.

- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead technical teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and predictive/preventive maintenance.
