Job Overview
Micro1 is seeking native English speakers from Ireland, Australia, and the United Kingdom to support an interactive AI training project focused on evaluating English audio recordings.
Key Responsibilities
Listen to and thoroughly evaluate short English audio clips.
Assess whether spoken audio sounds natural and native to the target region or accent.
Analyze speech elements, including pronunciation, accent integrity, fluency, tone, and inflection.
Identify unnatural elements, speech inconsistencies, or technical flaws in recorded speech.
Write precise, structured written feedback following project testing standards.
Maintain strict quality benchmarks, consistency, and guidelines across all audio data.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Native-level English proficiency with strong familiarity with native/regional English accents.
In-depth understanding of spoken pronunciation and natural speech cadence.
Sharp listening, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to provide structured written assessments in English.
Self-motivated and comfortable managing tasks independently within a remote workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in voice coaching, voice-over work, or speech analysis.
Academic or practical background in audio engineering, sound production, or music.
Expertise in linguistics, phonetics, media production, or language instruction.
Prior experience rating, transcribing, or evaluating recorded human or synthetic speech.
