Job Responsibilities
As a Junior Analyst, you will support client projects across various finance and accounting functions, including:
Accounting & Financial Operations:
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
- Analyze financial data and investigate performance variances
- Organize financial information for client reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Participate in finance and accounting projects across multiple client engagements
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme
- Up to one year of relevant work experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- A strong interest in finance, accounting, and business operations
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo, or similar platforms
- Progress toward a professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn
