leading Oil & Gas EPC company, Nestoil Group, is currently recruiting for the position of Drilling & Completions Manager. This is a senior-level role based in Warri, Delta State, offering the opportunity to oversee end-to-end drilling and well completion operations in a high-performance, safety-driven environment.
About the Role
The Drilling & Completions Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of drilling, workover, and completion activities. The role ensures that all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and extensive experience in oilfield operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full rig campaign operations including drilling, completions, and workovers
- Review and validate well programs, engineering designs, and AFE budgets
- Supervise daily rig-site operations and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Approve critical operations such as well testing, perforation, cementing, and well control procedures
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, well integrity standards, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor operational performance, cost efficiency, and Non-Productive Time (NPT)
- Manage contractors, service providers, and field teams
- Provide technical leadership and operational decision-making support
- Conduct post-job evaluations and implement continuous improvement strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of 10–12 years’ experience in drilling and completions operations
- Strong background in well engineering, drilling operations, and completion design
- IWCF Level 4 certification (Well Control Supervisor level)
- BOSIET / HUET and H2S certifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Experience in managing rig-site operations in onshore or swamp environments
